Lunetta
Lunetta is a community next to Mantova ( Italy), with a lot of multiculturality and low integration between cultures. Thanks to the collective Without frontiers we were able to interview the neighbours, focusing in their daily routines, and their history as community, and we discovered that the bigger connecting link was childhood. All the kids are feeling from Lunetta, and growing up together in the streets and squares there(no matter where the family comes from) is a distinguishing mark for all generations too. Because of that, the mural, just one big wall in these case, wanted to represent that moment of being rised together with a birthday celebration. In concrete, the one of a beloved girl there, who died prematurely because of an illness.

Lunetta
In Lunetta, after speaking with the neighbours, we decided to do a big mural representing a picture from the birthday of Maria. Maria was a little girl who had a brain illness and died quite young. The neighbours still remember her, and the love they show speaking about her defines very good the locals character and the way of acting: like a community who shows interest for the others, and that starts slowly to accept the newly arrived as part of the family.
