Anantapur
Anantapur is a city in the South of India, in one of the poorest and with less resources areas in the whole country, where Vicente Ferrer foundation is settled. Thanks to them we were invited there, to commemorate with our work the foundation's golden jubilee. The work there took a very social perspective, because the indian government proposed us to participate in a salubrity campaign at public spaces with a big mural next to a river; and to paint too at the only hospital around, where we selected 2 characters: a girl and a boy dancing traditional dances, creating a happy image for a place that usually is not considered in a positive way.

The work in the city took a very social perspective, because the indian government proposed us to participate in a salubrity campaign at public spaces, with a big mural next to a river where all the trash is left, to encourage like that families to have better cleaning conditions to prevent illness, which still needs a lot of awareness in the area.

The characters dancing are murals of the only hospital around There we selected 2 characters: a girl and a boy dancing traditional dances, creating a happy image for a place that usually is not considered in a positive way, and an idea of hope into the future. Despite of being one of the poorest regions, the dance, the music, the noise, the color, and the happinness are still very present in the city.
